File Your Stock Stock Will

Having a valid stock will on file is part of your responsibility as a shareholder.

Stock wills can be returned to Aleut in-person or by mail. Valid stock wills must be returned with original signatures, no emailed or faxed copies will be accepted. Aleut requires two (2) witnesses when signing your stock will in the presence of a Notary Public.

Revamped Form

The Aleut Corporation has revamped their Stock Will Form. Aleut has partnered with the village corporations, so that now you can update your Stock Will for TAC as well as any village corporation in our region at the same time.

Aleut now requires two (2) witnesses when signing in the presence of a Notary Public. This is an additional protection to ensure your shares are distributed according to your will.

Download the forms below to fill out your Stock Will to transfer shares of stock and any outstanding distributions in The Aleut Corporation and Village Corporation(s) (if applicable) upon your death.

Tips for Filing

Here is a recap of what you need to know in order to file a new or updated stock will:

• Valid stock wills must be returned with original signatures, no emailed or faxed copies will be accepted.
• You must sign your stock will in the presence of two (2) witnesses and a Notary Public.
• Click the “Find A Notary” button below to find a Notary near you!
• You do not have to complete the Village Corporation portion if you do not wish to, but doing so helps your Village Corporation by having an updated stock will. You can leave this section blank if you do not have Village Corporation shares.
• Use percentages that add up to 100% for your beneficiaries. You can use the number of shares, but if you receive or gift shares at any point in the future, your stock will is no longer valid.
