Tara L. Bourdukofsky

Director


Tara began her TAC Board service in 2002. Since then, she has chaired several committees including the Policy, Budget & Finance, and Shareholder Affairs. While on the Board, Tara has held officer positions including Vice President, Vice-Chair, and Secretary/Treasurer. Currently, she serves on the Board Policy and Lands, Resource & Real Estate Committees.

Additional board service includes representing TAC on The Aleut Foundation board and as a board member with the Alaska Trust Company. Previously, Tara spent 12 years with the Aleutian Pribilof Island Association as their Human Services Director directing social, educational, and workforce development programs and services. In 2019, she founded TIXLAX LLC which provides wellness coaching and leadership development services. Tara is currently the Director of Cultural & Educational Service for the Alaska Native Heritage Center.

Tara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Hawaii at Hilo and a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Alaska Pacific University. While at UH Hilo, Tara played volleyball winning several National Championships. It was this experience which led Tara to embrace and sharpen her leadership skills as captain of the team.

Born in San Francisco, California and raised on St. Paul Island, Alaska, Tara now resides in Anchorage. Her term expires in 2026.
