Danielle Larsen is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Anchorage, Alaska. Her father, John E. Larsen Jr., was from King Cove, Alaska, and her mother, Florence Wiehl, is from Beaver, Alaska. She is known for large-scale paintings of jarred smoked salmon that pay homage to her father and rich Unangan heritage. With more than a decade in the industry, Danielle is not just an illustrator and painter; she is a visionary storyteller who brings custom designs to life with a splash of color and a dash of innovation. Her art is inspired by the dynamic aspects of contemporary life and the way we exist in this world. Through her creative expression, she fosters a sense of connection and understanding among cultures and communities.
