We are partnering with Alaska Growth Capital (AGC) to bring you Aleut Marketplace! Visit AGC’s website now for more details. The Aleut Marketplace is a fun and engaging, year-long, business plan competition that offers resources and networking opportunities to support businesses from idea to execution for shareholders and registered descendants. Selected participants will have a chance to win up to $20,000! Applicants must be an Aleut shareholder or registered descendant, 18-years or older, and live in Alaska. The application portal is open until May 30! |
Competition Phases |
Phase 1: Business Concept | Present Your Business IdeaSubmit your business concept on the application portal by May 30. The business concept is a brief overview of the business. Visit AGC’s page for more details now. Phase 2: Business Boot Camp | Learn, Network, Start up!AGC will choose finalists to attend an entrepreneur camp in Anchorage. Participants will be guided through the fundamentals of starting a business, network with other small businesses and leaders, and learn the key elements of developing a business plan. Travel, accommodation, and food are covered by Aleut and AGC. The entrepreneur camp will be in September 29 – October 2, 2025. (With travel days before and after.) Phase 3: Formal Business Plan | Sell Your IdeaParticipation in the entrepreneur camp is required for advancement to the final phases of the Competition. Finalists will submit a comprehensive business plan and financial projections. Phase 4: Winner(s) AnnouncedFinalists will be notified via phone or email of their advancement in the competition. Winning funds will be administered by AGC. Winners will be announced in February 2026. |
