Darci Nevzuroff

Aleut proudly honors Darci Nevzuroff as our Student of the Year—a recognition of more than two decades of unwavering service in behavioral health and her tireless advocacy for the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness of Alaska Native communities.

As Director of Operations for Behavioral Health at Southcentral Foundation (SCF), Darci’s leadership reflects a deep and enduring commitment to the Aleut community and Alaska Native peoples. Her work has strengthened programs that provide culturally grounded care and holistic support for individuals and families across the region.

Darci’s dedication to learning and growth is equally inspiring. She is currently pursuing her MBA at Alaska Pacific University, expanding her expertise in business strategy, leadership, and data analytics to drive innovative, sustainable solutions in behavioral health. She also recently completed the Alaska Native Executive Leadership Program through APU—further equipping her to lead with vision and cultural integrity.

Beyond her professional achievements, Darci finds her greatest pride in her family: parents Doc and Denia, uncle Sam and aunt Sheila, her husband TJ, daughter Kaylie, and granddaughter Lana.

Awam ix̂amnaa! Good job! Darci sends her heartfelt appreciation and thanks to everyone celebrating this honor in-person at the annual meeting. While she could not attend the 53rd Annual Meeting to accept her award in person, Dave Nevzuroff accept the award on her behalf.
