As termination dust starts creeping down the mountains, we start preparations for the annual meeting.

Mark your calendars for the 52nd Annual Meeting on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at the Downtown Marriott Hotel in Anchorage, AK. Our theme for this year, We Persist, celebrates the culmination of our efforts—not just the milestones we’ve reached in recent years, but also the strategic foundation we are setting for the future. Proxy season is upon us. Proxy packets with Aleut’s annual reports are arriving in homes, but don’t forget – you can always access the annual report online at www.aleutvote.com. Check your email inbox or click through to our website here for instructions on how to access.

The audit was a time of evaluation and reflection: Aleut has accomplished a lot over the last few years. We achieved our highest revenue earnings in our Corporation’s history and paid our highest combined dividend in over 10 years. These notable achievements, as well as the financial state of the Corporation, are detailed in the annual report. Now as we continue to chart our course forward, we need your help in shaping the future for next generation of Unangax̂.

On this year’s ballot, we are asking shareholders to vote on establishing an ANCSA Settlement Trust and removing the debt ceiling. These measures are essential for the development and progress of Aleut. Your Board and Aleut leadership unanimously support a YES vote on both ballot measures. Because your participation in voting this year is vital to our Corporation’s success, we have doubled the number of proxy prizes this year. With over 60 proxy prizes, we are providing more chances to win than ever before!
