Kanuux̂ Collective began with two long-time friends Kailyn Kashevarof and Zoe Merculieff teaming up together to sell their earrings, each with their own distinct style. They specialize in beaded earrings, with seal skin and fish skin leather used as well. Kailyn is Athabascan and Unangax̂ hailing from Anchorage but with roots in Holy Cross and St. George, AK. Zoe is Inupiaq and Unangax̂ also from Anchorage with roots in Kotzebue and St. Paul, AK.
