Atxam Corporation is the farthest west Unangax Village Corporation in the Aleut Region and Atxam shareholders and descendants reside all across the United States, from Atka to Kentucky! The Corporation’s investments range from real estate to crab quotas. The Atxam Corporation is excited for the future with some recent changes within the support team and a strengthened focus on strategic planning.

(Availability depends on when ADF&G opens hunting, which is currently closed due to COVID-19.) Axtam Corporation requires and coordinates land use permits for anyone visiting Atka for reindeer hunts, whether for sport or meat. Sport hunting requires meat to be provided to the community. A land-use permit is also required for visitors wanting to hike and explore the wonderful island of Atka.
