Strata-G Solutions, LLC (Strata-G) is the latest of The Aleut Corporation’s (TAC’s) acquisitions, acquired in September 2019. Strata-G is a high-tech engineering and hardware solutions and services provider that resolves customer issues – rapidly, effectively, and economically. Strata-G is 100 percent owned by TAC as a stand-alone, wholly-owned subsidiary and Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB). Strata-G has headquarters in Huntsville, Alabama, a town known for its cotton trade and watercress farms in the 1800s, which has been transformed into a bustling metropolis with approximately 70 federal agencies located at the Army’s 38,000-acre Redstone Arsenal. More than half of the area’s economy is tied to Washington, DC federal spending, making Strata-G uniquely positioned to increase revenues and future sustainable net income for the Aleut shareholders.
Since inception in 2004, Strata-G’s vision has remained the same: to rapidly provide our United States military, homeland security, foreign allies, federal agency, and commercial customers with the highest quality military-centric engineering, hardware, integrated solutions, and services required for their mission success. Strata-G’s workforce performs a multitude of tasks including critical design engineering, prototyping, additive and traditional manufacturing, fabrication & kitting, technology integration, and aircraft & ground system modifications, as well as other related services to support our military’s role in executing multiple global requirements and eliminating threats.
Today more than ever, our military’s systems and hardware are aging and require technology upgrades to modernize the battlefield. Our recent technology upgrade to the Army’s aging Black Hawk UH-60 helicopter will modernize the Army’s digital cockpit upgrade. With this upgrade, the Army is replacing the UH-60L analog gauges with digital electronic instrument displays.
In addition to our engineering design expertise, Strata-G has extensive “back-shop” mechanical and electrical manufacturing, painting, clean-room, welding, and integration facilities in our Strata-G Prototype & Manufacturing Facility in Huntsville, AL, housed in a 100,000+ square foot facility. Strata-G has reinforced our commitment to superior quality as evident in our achievement of 3rd party certification to AS9110C, AS9110D, ISO 9001:2015 and AR 95-20 DCMA 8210.1. Flight and Ground Operating Procedures (FGOPs) all required certifications for DoD and military contracts.
Strata-G: Committed to the Future
We understand Alaskan Native corporations (ANCs) and Strata-G play a vital role in achieving our military’s mission readiness, combat effectiveness, and protections of our American freedoms. The Aleut Corporation sees a great future with Strata-G, and we stand ready to contribute to its prosperity so we can continue to serve our mission of generating sustainable net income and creating opportunities for our shareholders.
