TAC Leadership Transition

On Saturday, May 8, 2021, The Aleut Corporation (TAC) Board of Directors accepted the resignation of Thomas Mack as President & CEO. Mr. Mack served in leadership positions at TAC for 15 years. His engagement with our people positively contributed to improved communications with shareholders and descendants and brought our Aleut family closer together in ways we’ve not seen before. We appreciate him for that and wish him well in his future endeavors.

 

Martin HanofeeThe Board has designated Martin Hanofee, President of TAC subsidiary Aleut Federal, to serve as Interim President & CEO. Mr. Hanofee brings more than 20 years of federal contracting experience to the position and will be instrumental in our ongoing work to grow our federal contracting business and maximize returns for the benefit of our shareholders. He has previously held senior roles at Fluor, Tatitlek Corporation, Chugach Alaska Corporation, Raytheon, and General Dynamics. Mr. Hanofee has the full support of the Board as we continue to navigate the economic uncertainties and challenges posed by COVID-19, and we are confident in the corporation’s ability to meet those challenges.
