Dr. Gary Ferguson II

Vice Chair


Dr. Gary Ferguson II is originally from Sand Point, Alaska, and lives in Seattle, Washington.

He has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Multnomah University and a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the National College of Natural Medicine. He holds an Alaska Native Executive Leadership Program Graduate Certificate from Alaska Pacific University and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the Foraker Group.

Dr. Gary currently serves as Board Director/Chair for The American Indian Cancer Foundation; Board Director on the Alaska Addiction Professionals Association, Member of the SDWG Arctic Human Health Expert Group (AHHEG) on behalf of Aleut International Association, and Committee Member on University of Alaska’s MPH Advisory Committee. He is currently Faculty/Director of Outreach & Engagement at the Institute for Research and Education to Advance Community Health (IREACH) located in the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine at Washington State University.

Dr. Gary serves on the Board Policy and Budget and Finance Committees.

His term expires in 2025.
