Okalena Patricia “Patty” Lekanoff-Gregory rejoins The Aleut Corporation Board in 2022. She previously served on the Board and as Secretary/Treasurer from 2011 – 2013. Patty is an Ounalashka Corporation shareholder and has been serving on the Ounalashka Board off and on since 1979.
Patty is an instructor for the Aleutian Pribilof Islands Association (APIA), Qawalangin Tribe of Unalaska, and Qagan Tayagungin Tribe of Sand Point. She works as an Administrator for the Aleutian Pribilof Islands Restitution Trust.
Patty has been a devoted community servant for decades, working for the betterment of Unalaska and its community members. She is also a strong advocate for education and as a life-long learner, she is currently working towards completing her Master’s. She has studied Rural Development, Policy Administration, and Tribal Management.
Her term expires in 2025.
