Aleut Shareholder Awards

In 1986, The Aleut Corporation recognized the need to honor shareholders who had a positive impact in the Aleut Region, and the Shareholder of the Year and Elder of the Year awards were created. In the award’s inaugural year, three well-respected and deserving Elders were selected in addition to one Shareholder of the Year. In 2015, the awards were combined into one Shareholder of the Year award.

In 2010, The Aleut Corporation launched the Student of the Year award. This award recognizes and honors students pursuing higher education degrees or career advancement, and those who demonstrate the potential to become our future leaders.
