Charitable Giving
Throughout the year, Aleut provides donations and contributions to numerous organizations. Aleut concentrates on contributing to entities that provide benefits to the greatest number of Aleut shareholders and strongly considers how those efforts can enhance the Unangax̂ way of life. Donations are generally made to non-profit organizations.
Organizations that provide benefits or create a positive impact on Aleut shareholders are encouraged to contact the Corporation directly with their funding request. Aleut receives numerous requests throughout the year and unfortunately the annual budget cannot fund every request. Organizations are encouraged to contact Aleut at their earliest convenience to submit their funding request.
Most requests are evaluated and responded to within two weeks. Ultimately, the President & CEO and the Board of Directors govern Aleut’s giving guidelines and reserve the right to make any exceptions. Requests for contributions over $5,000 require Board approval.
Request a Donation
To make a donation request, please email info@aleutcorp.com with the subject line “Donation Request”, and provide the following information:
- Contact person name, address, email and phone
- Name and brief description of the organization
- Brief description of your need and how the funds will be utilized
- Description of how the donation will benefit Aleut shareholders
- Amount of request
- A list of other donors to your cause/event
- How Aleut might be recognized for our contribution
- Tax identification number
- Budget
