I am the founder and CEO of the Grid Electric Corporation (GEC), an electric utility & telecom construction company. My career started to evolve in the energy industry when I accepted a position at an Alaska-based oil and gas company. There I took every opportunity to grow professionally, taking advantage of the training, and networking opportunities, volunteering at fundraising events and assisting other departments when my workload slowed. I wanted to absorb everything to learn as much as possible. My superiors were some of the best leaders I had the pleasure to work with; they not only had faith in my abilities but took the time to teach and mentor me. I learned how critical investments in an employee's growth are to operate a successful long-term business.

When my time in Alaska ended, I relocated to South Florida, where I continued climbing up the corporate ladder and began an exciting journey in the electrical utility sector. I adopted the same working attitude while in the oil & gas industry. Over the last seven years, I served at four electric utility construction companies; at each one, my position, duties, and abilities increased, and I fell in love with the work. Over time, I observed different types of management & working styles; I had opportunities to speak with various levels of personnel about their positive and negative experiences at other companies.

In August 2020, I founded Grid Electric with the primary purpose of serving the electric power industry by supporting Tribal, Federal, State, and Local organizations while creating a work culture that embraces diversity, opportunity, and growth for our communities, employees, contractors, and partners. Our primary focus is on ensuring that our clients are supported with the necessary certified personnel and equipment to deliver uninterrupted power to our communities, whether in the wake of major storms or natural disasters or during normal operating conditions when construction or maintenance support is required.
