ONE OF OUR PROJECTS: An ARS company was awarded an 8(a) sole source contract by U.S. Army MICC to perform the demolition, remediation, and closure of a Groundwater Extractions, Treatment and Injection System. Our work included the demolition and remediation of the groundwater treatment plant, >61,000 LF of pipeline, and the abandonment of 29 wells. Prior to demolishing the treatment plant, ARS collected and treated about 130,000 gallons of potentially contaminated groundwater.
COOL FACTS: ARS is one of a select few small businesses that is licensed by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to handle highly radioactive contaminated materials (up to 2 Ci/isotope). This allows us to work on highly contaminated Federal Government sites.
