Anthony Lekanof

Director


Anthony was elected to his first term on the Aleut Board of Directors in 2020. He is a member of the Budget & Finance and Governance Committees, and served as the former Chair of the Shareholder Outreach & Development Committee. Anthony is Aleut’s Board Representative to the Museum of the Aleutians Board of Directors. Additional experience includes serving on the board at St. George Tanaq Village Corporation and Treasurer for the Alaska Native Professionals Association (ANPA).

Anthony is currently studying at the University of Alaska Anchorage’s School of Political Science. He also attended Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, AZ where he earned his pilot’s license. Anthony was a recipient of the Roger Lang Leadership Award from the Alaska Federation of Natives. His experience includes working in communications for Northwest Strategies as well as business development for 60Hertz Microgrids.

Raised in St. George Island, Anthony now resides in Anchorage. His term expires in 2026.
